PCI Durapox® – the epoxy resin joint mortar series for floor coverings exposed to chemicals
Walls and floors in galvanizing plants, operating theatres and food processing facilities face very special requirements. This also applies to the materials used for laying and grouting the tiling. The PCI range includes a variety of reaction resin joint grouts which resist attack by various chemicals, alkaline solutions, acids, greases and oils.
The products of the PCI Durapox® series also resist wear by grinding and rolling loads, cure without cracking and set without shrinking. Thanks to their high mechanical strength, their good adhesion and their low elasticity modulus, they are far superior to conventional cement-based products. PCI Durapox® – the epoxy resin joint mortar series for floor coverings exposed to chemicals
PCI Durapox® EL reaction resin grout was developed especially for floor coverings made from conductive ceramic tiles in applications where they are exposed to chemicals. The grout contains a binder resin with various filters and hardeners and no further aggregate is required. The product is suitable for joints with widths between 3 and 15 mm in indoor applications and has a smooth consistency for easy processing. In combination with electrically conductive tiles, PCI Durapox® EL reliably dissipates electrostatic charges, which means that it is predestined for use in battery and computer rooms.

Well-advised with PCI: epoxy resin joint grout with seal of approval
If you need a reaction resin joint grout with water vapour barrier properties, we recommend PCI Durapox® NT plus. This product also hardens without cracking and offers high mechanical strength. In contrast to PCI Durapox® EL, it is also frost proof and weatherproof, allowing use in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications.
The smooth, low-pore surfaces of the joint following curing are easy to clean and can resist temperature shocks caused by brief steam jet cleaning. As the reaction resin binder PCI Durapox® NT only contains fine aggregates, silica sand must be added for application by wet grouting, caulking gun or joint iron.
