Areas of application
- For indoor and outdoor use.
- For floors.
- For wet locations subject to non-pressing water such as bathrooms, showers in residential buildings, hotels, old people's homes and hospitals.
- For balconies and terraces.
- For all sizes of ceramic and natural stones.
- On moisture sensitive, absorbent substrates, e.g. particle boards, OSB boards, magnesite screeds, gypsum fiberboards, anhydrite flowable screeds or gypsum-based screeds.
- On mineral, absorbent substrates, e.g. concrete, screed, and self-leveling compounds, e.g. PCI Periplan.
- On mineral, non-absorbent substrates, e.g. old ceramic tiles, mastic asphalt screeds (only indoors).
- On underfloor heatings.
- On green cement screeds (minimum quality CT F4) as soon as walkable and able to bear weight.
- On anhydrite screeds with a residual moisture level < 2% (measured with a CM meter) when laying ceramic and natural stones.
- Can be applied in the categories: EK-W-AIV-S, EK-H_(AIV)-S, EK-G-AIV-S, EK-H-(AIV)-S in accordance with the ZDB Merkblatt "Entkoppelungssysteme" (ZDB leaflet "isolating systems").
Product features
- Water impermeable, protects moisture sensitive substrates.
- Flexible, takes expansions, compensates irregularities in the substrate and variations in temperature.
- Crack bridging, high reliability even when cracks in the substrates form at a later stage.
- Ready to use, the waterproof membrane is only bonded to the substrate.
- Rapid application sequence, ceramic or natural stones can be immediately laid when the waterproofing membrane is fixed.
- Reduces the ambient sound and impact sound of the installed ceramic or natural stones considerably.
- Very low emissions, GEV-EMICODE EC 1.
