When expanding its company building, the company Bausch + Ströbel, manufacturer of packaging and production systems for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industry, opted for the natural variant and decided to equip the new assembly hall with natural stone. In total, from May to July 2012, an area of around 5,000 m2 had to be fitted with granite slabs with a polished surface measuring 60 x 30 x 2 cm. The floor covering in the assembly hall has to withstand a load of up to 15 tons from forklift traffic - so it was necessary to create a homogeneous structure that guarantees enormous durability despite the sensitive granite slabs.
