With tailor-made system solutions for the simple and reliable energetic refurbishment of underfloor heating systems, PCI Augsburg GmbH is presenting three systems for refurbishment, renovation and modernization - depending on the type of underfloor heating - as part of its annual campaign. Thanks to perfectly matched products, installation on existing substrates is effortless and does not require any complex conversion work with long drying times - regardless of the choice of floor heating system.
The focus of the annual campaign "PCI is the trump card - how winners renovate" is on various system solutions with harmonized products for refurbishment, renovation and modernization. Craftspeople benefit from reliable complete solutions that allow even demanding refurbishment tasks to be completed easily and reliably. The first focus of the annual campaign is on the energetic refurbishment of underfloor heating systems.
A floor at a pleasant temperature ensures a cozy and comfortable living environment. Underfloor heating not only offers this comfort but also contributes to environmental protection with its energy efficiency. The larger the heating surface, the lower the flow temperature at which the heating system is operated. This saves both energy and costs.
The subsequent installation of underfloor heating as part of a renovation project in a private home is particularly interesting - even if only low installation heights are possible.
There are various underfloor heating systems from different manufacturers for this purpose. Depending on the structural conditions, there are three basic types of underfloor heating systems to choose from for subsequent installation: electric, hot water or underfloor heating that is subsequently installed in the milled screed. Regardless of the choice of underfloor heating system, craftspeople benefit from PCI system solutions when installing underfloor heating, as they are easy and reliable to process. Thanks to perfectly matched products, installation on existing substrates is effortless and does not require time-consuming conversion work with long drying times.
The low installation height makes PCI systems the ideal solution for subsequent installation in renovation projects. Depending on the type of underfloor heating system, the installation height varies and is, for example, 15 millimeters for a hot water heating system. The composition of the PCI products within the respective system solution also depends on the type of underfloor heating system selected. The special adhesive primer PCI Gisogrund 404 is available for priming, while PCI Periplan Extra or PCI Periplan Flow are used for leveling and/or grouting the underfloor heating system. For subsequent laying and joint grouting, the PCI systems include the flexible tile adhesive PCI Flexmörtel S1 Flott and/or the lightweight tile adhesive PCI Nanolight and the multi-use flexible joint grout PCI Nanofug Premium.
