As part of its annual campaign for refurbishment, renovation and modernization, PCI Augsburg GmbH is presenting another system solution that involves the renovation of bonded screeds and screeds on a separating or insulating layer. Whether inside or outside, as a heated screed, floating or on a separating layer – the PCI system scores with very short drying times and can be covered at an early stage.
The focus of the annual campaign "PCI comes up trumps – how winners renovate" is on various system solutions with harmonized products for refurbishment, renovation and modernization. Craftspeople benefit from reliable complete solutions that allow even demanding renovation tasks to be completed easily and reliably. The sixth main topic of the annual campaign is the fast renovation of screeds indoors and outdoors. This includes bonded screeds and screeds on a separating or insulating layer both in commercial buildings (e.g. warehouses/industrial halls, workshops) and in private residential construction.
Craftspeople benefit from the rapid construction progress and high efficiency: the renovated floor can be walked on after about six hours and can be covered with tiles after about one day. The fast-setting screeds cure with almost no shrinkage so that there is no concave arching at the edges. In addition, the easy flow and self-compacting properties reduce the amount of finishing work required.
