Fifteen new apprentices start their apprenticeship at PCI Augsburg GmbH
PCI with above-average high takeover rate of apprentices

PCI Augsburg GmbH welcomes a total of fifteen new apprentices to the three sites in Augsburg, Hamm and Wittenberg for the start of the apprenticeship in 2024 and wishes them much success. The company has been educating apprentices for more than 50 years and has an above-average takeover rate (75%). Apprentices are also being sought again for the coming training year 2025.
On September 1, the new training year at PCI Augsburg GmbH started at all three locations. This year, we welcome a total of fifteen new apprentices and wish them a successful apprenticeship period. Ten of the apprentices will start their apprenticeship at the PCI headquarters in Augsburg, four at the Wittenberg site and one apprentice in Hamm. This means that PCI will provide an apprenticeship for around 36% more young people in 2024 than in the previous year.
During the introduction week, the apprentices will be given an introductory program with information about their apprenticeship at PCI as well as a factory tour. They will also get to know the other apprentices, the youth representatives and the vocational trainers.
PCI Augsburg GmbH has been training apprentices for over 50 years. In the early years, this included chemical laboratory technicians and industrial clerks, later the number of job profiles steadily expanded and today includes industrial clerk, chemical laboratory technician, chemical technician, chemical production specialist, warehouse specialist, warehouse logistics specialist as well as mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic and electronics technician for industrial engineering.
The takeover rate at PCI Augsburg GmbH is above average at around 75% and underlines the high standard of apprentices and apprenticeship at PCI. Challenging and varied tasks as well as good development opportunities await the successful graduates after their apprenticeship. The company is registered with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce as an apprenticeship employer and was awarded the title "An A-grade apprentice was educated here" in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
