Eleven new apprentices are starting their apprenticeship at PCI Augsburg GmbH

For the start of the apprenticeships in 2023, PCI Augsburg GmbH welcomes a total of eleven new apprentices at the three sites in Augsburg, Hamm and Wittenberg and wishes them much success. The company has been training apprentices for more than 50 years and scores with an above-average takeover rate (75%). Apprentices are again being sought for the coming year 2024.
Traditionally, the new training year at PCI Augsburg GmbH starts every year on September 1 at the Augsburg and Wittenberg locations, in Hamm already on August 1. This year we welcome a total of eleven new apprentices and wish them a successful training period. Nine of the apprentices begin their apprenticeship at the PCI headquarters in Augsburg, one apprentice each at the Hamm and Wittenberg locations.
During the introductory week, the apprentices can expect an introductory program with information about their apprenticeship at PCI as well as a factory tour. They will also get to know the other apprentices, the youth representatives and the supervisors.
PCI Augsburg GmbH has been providing apprenticeships for over 50 years. In the early years, this included the areas of chemical laboratory assistants and industrial clerks, later the number of job profiles steadily expanded and today includes industrial clerk, chemical laboratory assistant, chemical technician, chemical production specialist, warehouse specialist and warehouse logistics specialist as well mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic and electronics technician for industrial engineering.
The takeover rate at PCI Augsburg GmbH is above average at around 75% and underlines the high level of apprentices and apprenticeship at PCI. Challenging and varied tasks as well as good development opportunities await the successful graduates after their apprenticeship. The company is an IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) training company and received the rating "An A-grade apprentice was trained here" in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
For the upcoming year 2024, we are still looking for apprentices in the areas of industrial clerks, chemical laboratory assistants, chemical production specialists, warehouse logistics specialists and mechatronics technicians.
